Yankee Cats Garibaldi
Garibaldi managed to sneak into my heart very quietly and secretly, or rather cuddling and purring. His character is hard to describe, you have to experience him to see that he is something very special. Garibaldi is always in a good mood and is always there, no matter what happens. He is a very cuddly and affectionate cat who forgets everything around him when he cuddles and starts purring at the first touch. He especially loves belly rubs.
Garibaldi's size is stunning, he weighs a good 10 kg and is still slim. At an exhibition he was described as a "Maine Coon tomcat who could easily pass for a medium-sized dog and looked around as faithfully and well-behaved as if he were at home there." Unfortunately his exhibition career was ended prematurely because his left ear was smaller after an injury (blood ear). For me, Garibaldi is and remains my absolute dream cat and I am overjoyed that he is with me.
Garibaldi died of multi-organ failure. He suffered permanent damage from pneumonia years earlier, which put a strain on his heart, and when his kidneys deteriorated as he got older, it became too much for his body. He was my heartfelt cat, I still cry today when I think of him ♥
Garibaldi is father of the H, J, K, M, N, O, P, Q -litter.
