Yankee Cats Lady Liberty

Me and black tabby ... unthinkable! Anyone who knows me knows I NEVER wanted black tabby. But Lady is simply something special, she is so much like her mum Apanatchee in appearance and character, that she has taken a special place in my heart. Although it is nonsense to keep her because I keep her brother, and although she is black tabby ... Lady stays with me :-)

With her name I have unconsciously hit her character, Lady Liberty, a symbol of independence and freedom. Lady is a very sensitive cat, with intimate bond to me. Without me in strange surroundings? No Go!

Lady was neutered because of a Pyometra, and has adopted Belanna's babys as a second mother. She also adopted Roxette babys, 5 years after her castration she has stepped in to replace the mother for the little ones.
